Teen Programs

Adventures offers a variety of summer camps, enrichment courses, and workshops for teens who wish to gain hands-on experience in the fields of science, engineering, or technology.
Get a better understanding of what university life is really like by completing projects in one of our many labs. Design a 3D model and print out a prototype in our Makerspace, investigate microorganisms in our microscopy lab, or build a robot in our robotics lab!
Faculty of Engineering Secondary School
Coming soon, the Faculty of Engineering will be offering hands-on credited high school summer courses. Stay tuned! |
Teen Technology Club for Girls and for All
Targeting girls and boys in grades 7-10, this bilingual educational initiative provides a great introduction into various technologies such as: 3D printing, laser cutting, and Arduino programming. Taught by engineering students, these Saturday clubs will give students the opportunity to design and build a home automation project using electrical circuits, sensors, Arduino and other technologies. Each Saturday the teens will work on different components of their project, experiment with new tech, and learn valuable engineering skills. The clubs are offered in two different settings, the Teen Tech Club for all and the Teen Tech Club for girls. Please note that the curriculum is the same for the Club for girls and the Club for all. Language: Grades: (with the exception of October 7, due to Thanksgiving) 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 or 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
