A world in motion!

Geography, Environment and Geomatics study our world’s dynamic systems and how they interact, from the social-cultural aspects all the way to the earth’s natural processes. In our department, you can study highly relevant issues like environmental sustainability, climate change, or urban development. We also provide the option to gain hands-on skills in the increasingly relevant and employable field of geomatics, GIS and remote sensing. Travel and learn in a real-world setting through our various field courses, which can take you from the glaciers of Iceland to the bustling streets of New York City. Gain real work experience through paid internships in between semesters through the optional CO-OP program. More about our department
