The Management option balances practical- and analytical-skills development to improve your decision-making processes. It seeks to deepen and broaden your understanding of how to generate and implement organizational strategies. The option emphasizes the need to manage for continuous performance improvement, the need to manage for the organization’s relationship to its environment, and the need to develop your understanding of historical management practice and of current trends in management. The option seeks to provide you with managerial skills that are cross-functional and applicable in many different organizational contexts.

The Honours BCom (option in Management) is available in CO-OP and French immersion.

You may participate in a range of case competitions and course-based simulations.

Choosing to participate in Enactus will further develop the skills the Management option seeks to provide you with.  Enactus is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. http://enactusuottawa.ca/
