The Telfer School is focusing on Health Systems Management with the objective of contributing to the resolution of Canada’s health challenges and to participate and enable the policy & regulatory conversation.
Through its various programs, research and initiatives, the Telfer School aims to create and validate enabling technologies, processes and practices as well as generating management expertise that improves health costs and outcomes.
Long standing relationships with the University of Ottawa’s Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, and hospitals in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec have allowed the School to position itself as a leading centre for expertise in health care management.

Health Systems Research Seminar Series (HSRSS)
The Health Systems Research Seminar Series (HSRSS) was created as a means for bringing together distinguished academics, business and health leaders and policymakers to discuss key healthcare systems management issues. Students are invited to participate into this forum which allows them to be exposed to a variety of experts and healthcare management related topics.
