Book time at the Makerspace
Want to use the Makerspace?
There are many ways you can access the equipment of the Makerspace:
- Drop in during open hours and use any of the available equipment
- Book the equipment of your choice for a particular date and time
To book an equipment, email us at: makerspace@uOttawa.ca. Please identify your equipment choice, date and duration of use.
The list of equipment displayed at the Makerspace is available for users with proper knowledge and training.
You don’t know how to use the equipment. Don’t worry! Just sign up for our workshops and we will show you how. You can also get training through one of our staff or volunteers.
Reserve this space
The Makerspace can be reserved for a day to host design events and competitions or other design related activities. During these events all our Equipment are at your disposal and we will have our staff and volunteers monitoring and guiding the guests through the Makerspace.
To book the Makerspace please send us an e-mail to makerspace@uottawa.ca with description, number of people that will be attending, duration and what equipment will be required for the event.
Please give us up to 10 days advance notice before the event. Once we receive your request, we will get back to you with the the appropriate details. We look forward to hearing from you and collaborating with you to bring your events to life.
