Interruption Notices

The University provides notice of Service interruption in the event of a planned or unexpected disruption in the facilities or services typically used by people with disabilities to access campus goods and services.  Notices of service interruption include the reason for the disruption, the anticipated duration, a description of alternate facilities or services (if available), as well as accessible routes for making one’s way to these alternate facilities and services. The notice is placed in conspicuous campus locations and, when appropriate, on this site. See the active notices on the right column.

  • Tabaret Accessible Entrance

    The accessible entrance below Tabaret's south entrance is closed behind fencing

    The South-facing accessible Tabaret entrance is closed until further notice due to severe water damage. Please use the accessible entrance on Waller Street.

  • Tunnel Closure: Marion to Colonel By

    Signs and boards showing the tunnel entrance is blocked

    The tunnel that links Marion and Colonel By will be closed as of October 23rd, 2016, and will remain closed until the end of construction.

  • Work in progress: UCU terrace

    While rejuvenating the UCU terrace and nearby concrete steps, Facilities will use the opportunity to create a dynamic new assembly and events area, upgrading the terrace with beautiful new landscaping and lights.

  • Pedestrian Access: Vanier to Campus Station

    The sidewalk from the Vanier Building to the Campus Station will be closed as of August 24th 2016 as part of the LRT construction. During construction, the contractor will maintain safe pedestrian access from all university buildings.

  • Accessible ramp, Simard building

    The outside accessible ramp on the West side of Simard, facing the Transitway will be closed until May 2018 for the duration of the Light Rail construction. Please use the entrance on Laurier between Arts Building and 100 Laurier.

  • Campus Station Closure

    Campus Station and the pedestrian tunnel will be closed as of the 24th of April 2016 for the duration of LRT construction.
