The Academic Writing Help Centre (AWHC) is a peer help centre where students can go at any step of the writing process to learn how to become more efficient and autonomous writers. Guided by fellow students, writers of all levels can make an appointment at the AWHC to improve their papers through the acquisition of writing strategies and skills.

Who we are

Our team of writing advisors consists of students who demonstrate excellent writing skills, critical thinking skills, and peer help skills. To ensure that our teaching practices are consistent from one appointment to another, our writing advisors receive comprehensive training at the beginning of each year.
