This workshop convened stakeholders from post-secondary institutions, industry, and government to discuss trends, challenges, and solutions related to translating technology from academic micro-nano technology (MNT) labs into production centres. This forum stimulated knowledge sharing and collaboration among organizations in the MNT innovation ecosystem—including the commercial manufacturing value chain, start-ups, academic and government nanofab facilities, and intermediary technology organizations—to position all parties for effective partnerships that enable efficient translation of proof-of-concept prototypes into production-approved process flows.

The 2013 Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering was held in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 5th to 8th, 2013 at the Delta Hotel and the University of Regina. CCECE 2013 provided a forum for electrical and computer engineering research and development from Canada and around the world.
