Purpose

The CSAIL Student Committee (CSC) is a student organization for the CSAIL graduate student body. CSC organizes a variety of social events and communicates the students' needs to the administration.

Projects

We use our funding to run a variety of social activities. To obtain event updates, students may subscribe to events through facebook and google calendar (see the events section), or subscribe to the csail-social mailing list.
CSAIL Olympics: A series of competitive social events during IAP. Details on CSAIL Olympics website here.
Muffin Monday: Free muffins on Mondays. Mondays at 5pm on G9.
Graduate Student Lunch (GSL): Enjoy home-cooked meals from your peers. Registration required. On Fridays during lunch.
CSAIL Karaoke: Karaoke and food at the Thirsty Ear. Held on Some Fridays. 21+.
Spontaneous Social Events (SSE) Funding for spontaneous activities around CSAIL.
Pub Nights: Cross-departmental social nights at the R&D Pub. Some Fridays. 21+.
Board Game Nights: Play board games and eat pizza. On G9 some Fridays.
Movie Nights: We go out and watch movies at the theater. Sporadic.
Girl Scout Benefit (GSB): G9 on Fridays, 5:30pm. Proceeds go to girl scouts. More info here.
