Research at the Faculty of Education
A word from the Vice-Dean Research and Professional Development
Dear friends and colleagues,
At the Faculty of Education, our bilingualism, professionalism, commitment to promoting French-language education and culture in Ontario, and research excellence are what make us special.
As you can see on this website, we are a national and international leader in education research. Our faculty is an English and French language vendor of record for the Ontario Ministry of Education and a French-language vendor of record for the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO). We are among the Canadian faculties of education receiving the most research funding, with six research chairs, six research laboratories and nine research units covering a wide range of areas, including history, mathematics, academic leadership, technology, and health and wellbeing in education.
I am proud to invite you to visit our website and meet our brilliant professors and researchers, who are making the Faculty of Education into a true standard bearer for the University of Ottawa.
