Startup Garage is a program delivered by Capital Entrepreneurs and the University of Ottawa to foster and support student entrepreneurship in the Ottawa area.
The program offers youth-led ventures the opportunity to accelerate their business by working full time over the course of three months during the summer and by providing participant companies with four essential tools:
FUNDS
SPACE
MENTORSHIP
TRAINING
Up to $20,000 of funds for your business
A workplace provided by Invest Ottawa.
Guidance from business experts to help companies grow faster.
Sales, marketing, financing
and more!
The program is delivered through the generous support of the University of Ottawa, Capital Entrepreneurs (Ontario Centres of Excellence), Invest Ottawa, Gowling WLG and Logan Katz.
WHAT WE DO
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
To be eligible to participate in the Startup Garage program, you must meet at least ONE of the following criteria:
Have graduated from the University of Ottawa within the past two years.
2014+
Be an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, or La Cité Collégiale.
18-29
Be 18 to 29 years old on June 1, 2016, and reside in Ottawa or Eastern Ontario (must be in Ottawa from June through August).
