To all graduate students and post-docs in the Faculty of Medicine,

Mark your clendars for Wednesday March 9th for the “Faculty of Medicine Career Day”

What: We have a wide range of exciting speakers from various scientific careers, (with similar graduate school backgrounds to the current students) will come to give talks about their career path, decision making process, employment history, and current position. See attached poster for list of speakers!

Who is invited to attend?: ALL Graduate students/post-docs and faculty members in the Faculty of Medicine.

When: WEDNESDAY MARCH 9th, 2016— ALL DAY Symposium!!!
Life Sciences Session: begins at 9:20 am, ends at 4:00pm
Epidemiology-specific Session: begins at lunch, ends at 4:00

*** The day will include morning and afternoon coffee breaks, a lunch buffet for all participants and speakers ***

Mitacs Presentation!

Mark your calendars for the Mitacs presentation, a not-for-profit organization that helps build partnerships between academia and industry/qualified not-for-profit organizations. Mitacs projects can range from $15,000 to $2+M so come learn about potential funding opportunities and services offered by Mitacs.
There will be an opportunity for 1on1/small group meetings following the presentation for anyone interested in more details.

Halloween Party!
