![]() Liam Peyton, | Program Administration I am Director of E-Business Graduate Programs since 2012 and Associate Director for Software Engineering since 2011.Resources for E-Business Students Resources for Software Engineering Students Research Interests I am a principle investigator for the Intelligent Data Warehouse Lab.Here is a list of my publications. My area of interest is model-driven data integration and mobile app develoment to support business processes and performance management for healthcare. This includes service oriented architecture, cloud computing, complex event processing, decision support, quality assurance and privacy especially as applied to health care information systems. I also teach and do basic research in software engineering, and electronic business. Affiliations Member of the IBM-Telfer Center For Business Analytics and Performance Teaching This year, I am teaching E-Business Research Seminar, EBC6230, the 4th year Software Engineering Capstone Project course SEG4910 & SEG4911, and a new DGD for first year SEG. In the past, I have taught GNG1106, CSI1390, CSI2911, SEG4105, SEG4289, CSI5380, CSI5389. Industry Experience 15 years as an independent consultant with my own company, The MirrorWorks Software Inc., specializing in innovation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring.My projects addressed specific industries (government, healthcare, telecommunications, and online-retail) as they adopted new technology to automate and manage business processes. I was certified as a consultant/instructor by Rational Corporation for UML, Object Oriented Design, and RUP and mentored several teams in the adoption of agile development processes (Scrum.) |
