E-Business Technologies
Master in Electronic Business Technologies (MEBT)
Electronic Business Technologies focuses on the integration of information technologies with business processes and strategies within a dynamic legal and business environment. At the base of Electronic Business Technologies is the fact that the application of Internet and information technology to business processes leads to remarkable new ways of conceiving and organizing businesses. This in turn leads to a myriad of innovative modes of management, new organisational structures and information architectures as well as new laws and legal and corporate strategies. Electronic Business Technologies is composed of two major areas of specialization or streams: Electronic Business and Electronic Technologies.
Master of Science in Electronic Business Technologies (MSc)
Electronic Business focuses on organizational transformations based on information technologies. Research includes the identification of best practices and trends, the comparative analysis of new business models, the evaluation of performance based on the introduction of new technologies, the efficacy of the new services and methods in attracting and satisfying customers, and the simulation of integrated supply chains.

E-Business
Electronic business focuses on organizational transformations based on information technologies. Web-based electronic commerce is having a major impact on the activities of business organizations. A number of different forms of integration among or inside organizations have become feasible, for example: B2B (business-to-business), B2C (business-to-consumer), B2E (business-to-employee), in the areas of customer relationship management, supply chain management, aggregation of information assets, and other areas. Organizations that undertake e-commerce often make radical changes in their business models, and offer new products and services in ways that were not envisaged or possible previously. These new practices are referred to as “electronic business”. Therefore, the concept of e-business, as described above, differs from the concept of e-commerce, which targets the technological context of online transactions

E-Commerce
Electronic Commerce is an emerging economic sector experiencing exponential growth. Expertise in electronic commerce must combine advanced knowledge of information technology, business administration and law, all disciplines in which the University of Ottawa offers graduate programs. The graduate diploma in electronic commerce provides advanced expertise explicitly in e-commerce.
