Intensive Certificate in Lean for the Public Sector

Monday January 11, 2016 (9:00 to 16:00)
Course Title: Introduction to Lean for Government (prerequisite for all other Lean courses)

Tuesday January 12, 2016 (9:00 to 16:00)
Course Title: Lean is Science: Problem Solving Using a Scientific Approach (mandatory course)

Wednesday January 13, 2016 (9:00 to 16:00)
Course Title: Lean Project Champion: Launching and Ensuring Success for your Lean Project (mandatory course)

Thursday January 14, 2016 (9:00-16:00)
Course Title: iLean: Using Lean Tools for Personal Productivity (mandatory course)

Friday January 15, 2016 (9:00-16:00)
Course Title: Managing Adversity: A Service Excellence Approach (fulfills the elective choice)

The registration cost for each course is $455.00 +HST. Obtain 10% rebate if you register to 4 or more courses at the same time.

Location

All courses are offered in downtown Ottawa (Room 1208-B, 1 Nicholas St, 12th Floor, Ottawa.) with easy access by public transit and close to several public parking options. Course rooms can change without notice and registrants will be informed upon arrival on the day of the course.

Coffee and juices are offered free of charge throughout the day. In the morning, croissants, muffins or assorted pastries are also offered free of charge. In the afternoon, we provide complementary cookies or snacking options. If you bring a lunch, you can eat in a lunch room located near the classroom. You can also opt for one of many restaurants and fast food options close to our downtown facilities.

Lean courses are facilitated by France Bergeron and Joanne Gaudet and include public service-oriented simulations and examples.

Once you have met all the requirements for the Certificate in Lean for the Public Sector, follow the guidelines in the FAQ page to request your certificate.

*The University of Ottawa, Centre for Continuing Education recognizes Lean for Government one-day courses that you have taken with Alpen Path Solutions Inc., therefore you do not need to follow these courses again. Simply present your Alpen Path Solutions Inc. certificate(s).
