Get ready to register for your courses. Select the student category that best describes you and follow the steps to complete your course registration.

Registration schedule

To avoid excessive web traffic on our online tools, course registration schedules are determined by your student number, faculty and year of study. Schedules vary from one session to the next, but are usually published at the end of April for registration for the Fall and Winter sessions. For your registration schedule, select your student category from the section above.

For Spring-Summer session courses, registration starts on April 5, 2016.

Support

Whether you are a new student or you need to refresh your memory, our support team is here to help you through the registration process.

Registration Help Centre

We can answer general questions, help you find your way in Rabaska or offer support if you’re having difficulties. Contact us for just about anything relating to your course registration. The centre operates from May to July to help with registration for the Fall and Winter sessions.

Course registration help sessions on campus and in some high schools

Our team organizes course registration help sessions in May and in June for students who are registering in a direct-entry faculty for the first time. Attend a session in one of the University of Ottawa’s computer labs and we’ll help you build a course schedule and register for your courses.

Our liaison officers will also be visiting some high schools from May 16 to 27, 2016. Contact your guidance counsellor to find out if we’re visiting your school.

You must register to attend courses or course-related activities (for example work terms, exchange or other activities).

We will not grant you any credits or record any grade for a course or activity you have not properly registered for by the registration deadlines, as indicated in the important academic dates and deadlines. You are responsible for completing your course selection and registration correctly and making sure that courses meet your program requirements. You can’t register after the deadline.

When you register for courses you are automatically responsible for the fees that appear on your statement of account. We don’t consider your account settled until your fees are paid in full.
