Sophia Leong explains Why the Telfer Executive MBA Matters
background

Why the Telfer Executive MBA

At the Telfer Executive MBA Program, we believe that true acceleration of growth and transformation happens within an environment where interactions are in-person and multi-dimensional - where it is ‘live’. Our ‘live’ program is deliberately designed for mid-career and senior level executives who seek a Global, Practical and Relevant experience all while earning a graduate degree.

Our comprehensive, real-world curriculum focuses on leadership, teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration. The curriculum is tightly connected through our Signature Series of Six Business Consulting Projects, two of which are global in focus and involve two international business trips. These projects are true accelerators of learning, by moving you well beyond the classroom environment, getting you to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in the work with client organizations to answer business challenges in real-time. You will directly apply what you are learning within class by bringing it into the field.

The Telfer School of Management is one of only two business schools in Canada to hold the triple crown of international accreditations by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

Actively Manage your Career

The Telfer Executive MBA Program does not disrupt the momentum of your career. Scheduled class days take place on alternate Fridays and Saturdays in order to minimize your time away from work. This allows you to continue working full-time while earning your MBA degree. You can learn the strategic models within the classroom today and actively apply them to your job tomorrow.

Our alumni consistently agree that the Telfer Executive MBA Program equipped them with a strong set of business tools and effectively raised their competency platforms− including their self-confidence and their capability to address business challenges and opportunities in a timely manner.
