Meet Western Scholars
On February 27, the Canadian funding agencies (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) announced a new Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications that requires federally funded peer-reviewed journal publications be made freely available.
The policy states that grant recipients can comply by depositing their accepted manuscript in an online open access repository or by publishing their work in an open access journal.
Depositing your accepted manuscript or final paper in Scholarship@Western fulfils your Open Access obligation to the funding agencies.
