Topic Course for Fall 2015
SRS4107 - The Bible in Hollywood: An Introduction to Bible and Film
The Bible has been a Hollywood staple from the very first days of cinema until the present. This course will examine the various roles that the Bible has played, in a) movies that retell biblical stories and b) films that explicitly use biblical elements to tell fictional stories. The course is offered as a hybrid or blended course; a major component will be completed on-line with significant interaction with the professor as well as with others in the course.
