Research Interests

My primary research goal is to build new protocols and architectures that improve the robustness and performance of computer networks. I work on wireless networks, network security, traffic engineering, congestion control, and routing. I draw on advanced mathematical models to deliver practical network solutions, and have a particular interest in adapting tools from various fields of applied mathematics such as control theory, coding theory, and machine learning to solve problems in computer networks.
