Graduate Diploma in Information Studies Program Overview
The School of Information Studies also offers a Graduate Diploma in Information Studies (GDIS). This 15-credit program is intended for professionals who have already earned a master’s degree in library science or information studies, but who wish to assume greater administrative responsibilities or fill any gaps in their knowledge that may have arisen as a result of developments in the field. Students in the GDIS can custom-build their own program by choosing any five courses from among those on offer as part of the MIS. Faculty members will be pleased to help GDIS students design an individualized program that will help them to meet their personal career objectives. Students are responsible for having completed the prerequisites for the selected courses. No equivalencies are granted.
