PeaceGeeks is a global non-profit, volunteer organization that empowers grassroots organizations in developing and conflict-affected areas and countries.

In late October, we met Ian McRae, a long-standing volunteer with Sustainable Living Ottawa East (SLOE), who will be leading a team of 10 student volunteers on a Rideau River shoreline restoration project in spring 2014.
