Dr. Paul Corkum was inducted into the Order of Ontario. The province’s highest official honour recognizes any current or former long-time resident of Ontario who has demonstrated a high level of individual excellence and achievement in any field benefiting the people of Ontario or anywhere in the world. Congratulations!

Research by Laurie Chan (Department of Biology) shows that northern First Nations have elevated levels of mercury and persistent organic pollutants in their blood due to the accumulation of these chemicals in the Arctic food chain.
