How to access the uOttawa wireless network on campus
You should associate only with one of the University’s two wireless networks: uOttawa or uOttawa-WPA.
Networks with other names (e.g. FreeInternet, OttawaU, etc) are rogue networks not managed by the University. They may be there as an attempt to steal your password or other information.
For better security and protection while using the wireless network connect to uOttawa-WPA by following the WPA instructions below. If your device does not support a WPA connection, connect to the uOttawa network using a VPN Client

Password | Same password as your uoZone/InfoWeb account, in UPPERCASE If your password has more than eight characters, type in only the first eight. |
