In Appendix D of Functions and Operators (the non-normative compatibility
appendix), the signature of the translate() function is shown incorrectly. It
shows the second and third arguments as having type xs:string? rather than
xs:string

Accepted as editorial without WG discussion. The change will be published as
erratum FO.E9
