- Congratulations to professor Rukhsana Ahmed, Department of Communication, who has been awarded with the 2012 Distinguished Edited Book Award of the Applied Communication Division of the National Communication Association (NCA) for her book entitled Medical Communication in Clinical Contexts, co-edited with Dr. Benjamin R. Bates (Ohio University).

Two important grants in organizational communication
Luc Bonneville and Sylvie Grosjean, co-chair of the IRGOC, just received two separate grants from SSHRC for their work on the interactions in an organizational context. These grants will enable them to carry a few data collection, and thereby hire some students in the field.
