  • Congratulations to professor Rukhsana Ahmed, Department of Communication, who has been awarded with the 2012 Distinguished Edited Book Award of the Applied Communication Division of the National Communication Association (NCA) for her book entitled Medical Communication in Clinical Contexts, co-edited with Dr. Benjamin R. Bates (Ohio University). 
  • uOttawa's Faculty of arts among the world's best in the subject of Philosophy, Linguistics, History and Communication: QS World University Rankings 2013
  • The University of Ottawa Chair in University Teaching is awarded to Professor Jenepher Lennox Terrion, in recognition of her excellence and innovation in teaching, her demonstrated educational leadership, and the quality of her proposed project.
  • Congratulations to Jenepher Lennox Terrion, professor at the Department of Communication, 2013 Capital Educators' Award Recipient and to the finalists Geneviève Bonin and Richard Burgess. These excellence awards celebrate the dedication and achievements of educators in Ottawa.

  • Two important grants in organizational communication

    Luc Bonneville and Sylvie Grosjean, co-chair of the IRGOC, just received two separate grants from SSHRC for their work on the interactions in an organizational context. These grants will enable them to carry a few data collection, and thereby hire some students in the field.
