Why a password?
To consult your student file, you need a password.

Why give part of my S.I.N. and date of birth, among others?
When giving you an on-line password, we have to keep our system secure and make sure we don't get you confused with someone else! That's why we absolutely need you to provide the four pieces of information in the boxes below.

What if I really don't want to give out part of my S.I.N. or date of birth?
If you don't want to or if you don't have a S.I.N., the only way to get a password is by calling 613-562-5800, ext. 6555 or by visiting the Computing Help Centre (Montpetit Hall, room 140). Our information officers will need to see your ID before they can give you a password.

Hey! I gave the info, but I can't get a password. What do I do now?
If, for some reason, the information you enter in the boxes does not perfectly match what we already have on file, the screen will answer "NO MATCH FOUND."
Double-check your entry, try again, and if you still can't get in, come in person to InfoService so we can check the information and give you a password on the spot.
