Biography

Gilles G. Patry was President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ottawa from 2001 to 2008.

Not only is he the first locally born and educated CEO of this University established, he is also the first to have extensive private-sector experience.

That experience proved invaluable throughout Dr. Patry’s tenure as President of the University of Ottawa.
