The Faculty of Health Sciences releases its annual report and celebrates the 2012 award recipients
On November 1, the Faculty of Health Sciences held its two major events: its Annual General Meeting and its 11th Ceremony of Excellence. The Interim Dean first presented a summary of the Faculty’s activities and financial statements, and the Faculty honoured the academic success of the Faculty's best students and the achievements of professors and staff members who have excelled during the 2011-2012 academic year.
Two prominent FHS scientists receive Leaders Opportunity Fund
Professors Shannon Bainbridge and Roanne Thomas will receive funds from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to support their cutting-edge research in the areas of prenatal health and chronic illnesses and disability, respectively.
