- The Department is happy to announce that the Canadian Association of Slavists has awarded its undergraduate essay prize of the year to Sara Miller for her paper "From the Politics of Amnesia to the Politics of Remembrance: An Analysis of the Katyn Massacre's Historical Narrative." Ms Miller was a student of Professor Douglas Clayton in the course "Russia since Gorbachev."
