Two-time tae kwon do world champion Isabelle Bond nominated personality of the week

Isabelle Bond, a master’s student in physiotherapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences’ School of Rehabilitation, has been selected the Radio-Canada/Le Droit personality of the week (external site, in French only), April 4-10, 2011, for winning her second world title in tae kwon do earlier last month.

The tae kwon do world championships were held in Wellington, New Zealand, from March 9 to 13, 2011. The Canadian women’s senior team made its mark thanks to the great performance of Isabelle and her teammates. The team took a silver medal.
