Congratulations to all our graduates!
This spring, close to 7,600 graduates will receive a diploma, 5,300 of whom will attend the traditional Convocation ceremonies in Southam Hall of the National Arts Centre June 2-5, 2012.
Convocation is a very special event that brings together graduates and members of the University of Ottawa community. This year's ceremonies will incorporate some new elements, including live music from our very own students and alumni instead of the traditional organ. For the first time, each ceremony will also feature an address from a class president.
This year, eight recipients working in various fields will receive honorary doctorates. These honorary doctorates are awarded during the ceremonies and highlight the substantial contributions made by recipients to the University of Ottawa, to their profession or to society at large.
As of June 2nd, visit the uOttawa Gazette's Flickr account to see and download high-resolution photos of the event, as well as watch video interviews with students and honorary doctorate recipients.
Congratulations to all graduates, as well as to the honorary doctorate recipients, of the spring 2012 cohort!
