Canadian Francophonie: A bridge between disciplines
The University of Ottawa’s Research Chairs in Canadian Francophonie program is designed so that the individual chairs are closely connected, forming a network of researchers with distinct interests who can still work together and grow. The program was created in 2003 in order to strengthen the University of Ottawa’s position as a leader in research on the Canadian and North American Francophonie. The University currently has seven Canadian Francophonie Research Chairholders working in various disciplines connected to the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences and Education, as well as the Telfer School of Management.
