University of Ottawa student featured in Canadian Geographic

University of Ottawa geography student Robert Way is featured in the latest issue of Canadian Geographic. The 20 year old student participated in the CryoEX program, an international exchange program established by the University of Ottawa and the University of Oslo in Norway.

The story, "The cryosphere kid," gives a detailed account of research on permafrost. The online version of the story features links to additional content, such as photographs, videos and an interactive component on the current state of the world's Northern landscapes.

The work Robert Way is involved in demonstrates why the University of Ottawa is among the top research universities in Canada and abroad. Through research activities, our students contribute significantly to solving pressing global issues.

Each year, the University of Ottawa attracts close to 5,000 graduate students who discover, innovate and contribute to important advancements in their discipline. Training tomorrow's leaders is at the heart of the University of Ottawa's mission.
