The Snow Festival warms up campus!

Community Life Service works diligently to enhance socio-cultural life on campus and provide a memorable student experience. Since 2006, the Service has organized the Snow Festival, which takes place around the University to celebrate the winter season.

This year, from January 23 to 26, this unique and fun-filled Festival will transform our campus. Winter-themed activities, including dog sledding and a snow sculpture competition, are guaranteed to warm you up. The Snow Festival begins with the sculpture competition on January 23. Teams will sculpt their snow masterpiece in the park across from Tabaret Hall for a chance to win prizes. There will be plenty of maple taffy on snow and BeaverTails to enjoy. Free tickets are available throughout the Festival from Community Life Service.

And what says wintertime more than a sugar-bush meal? On Wednesday, January 25, you can tuck into one between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a small charge. Tickets can be purchased through Community Life Service. Finally, for the really brave, a sleepover in the tipi has been scheduled for the evening of January 25. A guide and all necessities are supplied, so come spend the night for a truly unforgettable experience!
