Contact your faculty to confirm the number of credits required to change your program or add the program(s) you’re considering.

Prerequisites
Some programs have prerequisites, usually at the secondary or college level. Be aware of these requirements and ensure you meet them before making a request to change or add a program.

If you completed your studies outside Canada, contact your faculty to confirm the prerequisites for your chosen program.

Minimum averages required to change or add a program (2012–2013)

Grade point average requirements vary among programs and between programs offered in English and in French due to the number of spaces available in each program. The averages shown below are subject to change.

Certain programs that do not allow a major or a minor to be added are included below so you can see all the program options. Be sure to read the information on restrictions and options in the table below very carefully.

Check your cumulative grade point average (found in your grade report in InfoWeb) before requesting a change or an addition to a program of study. InfoWeb is accessible via uoZone.

Who can help you with decisions?

If you have questions or concerns about the options available to you, don’t hesitate to contact your faculty. The academic advisors and academic assistants are there to help you better understand your options and would be happy to assist you in making the best decision for you.
