Delegation and Control

“Very well organized with excellent current examples! Many thanks!”
Delegation underpins a style of management that allows the members of your team to use and develop their skills and knowledge to their full potential. Without delegation, you lose their full value. Good delegation is primarily about entrusting your authority to others. This means that they can act and initiate independently, and that they assume responsibility with you for certain tasks. However, if something goes wrong, you remain responsible since you are the manager. The trick is to delegate in such a way that things get done but do not get off track. Success in delegation is measured not by how you go about delegating, to whom you delegate, or how often you delegate, but by the results you achieve through delegation.

Join this workshop and receive a full set of tools and techniques for enhancing your results. You will get the practice required to go back to your workplace and deal with regular delegation, with delegating to groups and to “difficult” people, and with delegating “problems.” Effective delegation does not just add to your achievements: it multiplies them.
