Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Newborn Care, University of Ottawa/Ottawa Hospital. Situated in Canada's National Capital Region, we are able to deliver our clinical and academic program in a unique cultural and linguistic environment.
Our Vision is to be a national and international leader in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care by setting standards, and furthering innovation in clinical care, education, and research.
Our website will provide you with a 'window' on a young and energetic Department committed to achieving both our vision and the hospital core values of compassion, a commitment to quality, working together and respect for the individual.
The fifty clinicians and seven scientists that call Obstetrics and Gynecology home are based on the three campuses of The Ottawa Hospital and the Montfort Hospital. All of our scientists are members of the Ottawa Health Research Institute (OHRI) http://www.ohri.ca
