The Exchange Students (Outgoing) Section provides information to uOttawa students who are considering going on an exchange, are already accepted to go on an exchange or who have recently returned from an exchange. This section will help students determine:
- Am I eligible to go on an exchange?
- Where can I study?
- When are the information sessions?
- How do I apply?
- I am on an exchange, what do I need to before coming back to Canada?
In partnership with the University of Ottawa’s academic units, the International Office coordinates student mobility opportunities.
About the Exchange Program
Adding a new perspective to your academic experience can be as simple as spending a session or a full academic year as part of a student exchange with one of our more than 250 international partner institutions in some 52 countries. The University of Ottawa aims to train competent graduates who are open to the world and offers you the opportunity to add an international dimension to your studies.
Participation in an international academic experience provides:
- access to recognized international partner institutions;
- credit towards the uOttawa degree;
- payment of tuition fees to uOttawa;
- guaranteed student mobility scholarship; and
- support services to ensure a quality academic experience in a secure environment
