The President’s Award for Service Excellence - Individual
Each year, the President recognizes an employee who has demonstrated a consistently high level of quality client service. These employees must also demonstrate creativity and initiative in finding effective ways to meet the client’s needs. Overall, these employees put forth a constant effort to maintain and strengthen the University’s image, mission and the principles of service excellence endorsed by the Administration.
Each recipient receives a commemorative plaque, a $2,000 cash prize and their photo appears on the Wall of Honour in recognition of his or her special contribution.
The President’s Award for Service Excellence - Team
The President annually recognizes a team within the University that stands out for the quality of service it provides to clients. This team takes an innovative approach in designing or delivering products and services for its clients (students, staff, and or the community at large). Overall, this team of employees constantly strives to strengthen the University’s image, mission and the principles of service excellence endorsed by the Administration.
Each recipient receives a commemorative plaque, a $2,000 cash prize and their photo appears on the Wall of Honour in recognition of his or her special contribution.
The Award of Excellence
Each year, the University of Ottawa formally acknowledges the special contribution of staff members who have distinguished themselves in their work. The following groups receive awards, one prize for management and professionals, two prizes for administrative and staff, one prize for technicians and technologists, as well as protection services and groups 772A and 772B of the I.U.O.E.
Each recipient receives a certificate, a $2,000 cash prize and their photo appears on the Wall of Honour in recognition of his or her special contribution.
