More flexible renewal criteria!

The Financial Aid and Awards Service is pleased to remind you that you can now renew your admission scholarship* at 50% of its annual value if you have a CGPA between 8.0 and 8.4 inclusively at the end of your academic year. Furthermore, as in the past, you will be able to renew your scholarship for the full amount in a subsequent year if your CGPA increases to 8.5.

This new policy applies to all students currently enrolled at the University of Ottawa and who have earned an admission scholarship at the time of their admission, in 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011.

*Applicable for the Renewable Admission Scholarship, the Nortel Networks Admission Scholarship, the President’s scholarship, the Chancellor’s Scholarship and Canada’s University Scholarship (French Immersion and Écoles de langue française).

Please consult our Scholarships and Bursaries section to view the renewal criteria of these scholarships.
