Serving the entire University community, the Office of the Ombudsperson provides impartial and independent advice and information to parties to assist in resolving disputes and problems, with complete confidentiality. The office may make recommendations for resolution in individual cases and may also make recommendations for changes to University policies and practices, where appropriate. The Office of the Ombudsperson does not replace existing channels of assistance or appeal at the University.

- you believe that you have been treated unfairly
- you are not sure what to do or don’t know where else to turn
- you need information or advice about existing channels of appeal
