Evaluation of Undergraduate Programs

Undergraduate programs at the University of Ottawa are reviewed every seven years. This periodical evaluation process gives the University another means of maintaining and, where needed, improving the quality and relevance of its bachelor and certificate programs. The evaluation of undergraduate study programs takes place under the authority of the Vice-President Academic and Provost, who is supported in this task by the Senate Committee on the Evaluation of Undergraduate Programs. The review team is comprised of two external evaluators from the same discipline as that of the academic unit concerned. However, the evaluators must be completely independent of the program being reviewed.
