Enjoy the benefits of wireless printing!
If your building currently enjoys wireless coverage, you can now send documents (in colour or black & white) to your local printer while being connected to the wireless network. (Note: This service is not available for the RELMON Self-Service Printers.)
You must have the proper printer driver installed in order to print from the wireless network. Simply refer to the following instructions to install the driver on your computer:
- Open your browser and go to Computing and Communications Services’ (CCS) home page (www.ccs.uottawa.ca)
- In the left menu bar, click on “Software”
- In the Software menu, click on “Download Zone”
- Scroll down to “Xerox Print Drivers” on the software list and click “Download it!”
- Choose the appropriate printer driver from the list and save the file to your computer
- Run the file and install the driver to your computer by following the instructions on screen
Note: If you do not know the IP address for your local printer, contact the Computing Help Centre (ext. 6555) to retrieve this information.
CCS is committed to providing reliable services that meet your needs.
