The Vered Jewish Canadian Studies Program

The Vered Jewish Canadian Studies Program promotes an understanding of Jewish life, culture, language, literature and history in Canada. The program offers a variety of courses in an interdisciplinary environment with courses in Jewish Canadian culture, history, literature and Yiddish. Courses are open to all students at the University of Ottawa and to members of the community at large.

Minor in Jewish Canadian Studies

The Faculty of Arts offers a minor in Jewish Canadian Studies. It provides the student with a strong knowledge base in Jewish Canadian studies and includes courses in history, Jewish Canadian literature, religious studies, Yiddish language and culture, for example.
