Human kinetics student Élise Desjardins named Canada's Young Ambassador of the support team for the 2012 Canadian Youth Olympic Team
A three-year team captain for the Gee-Gees women's soccer team, Élise Desjardins (on left in picture above) is completing her Master's Thesis in Sport Management at the School of Human Kinetics under the supervision of Professor Eric MacIntosh, PhD. "I've been involved in sport all my life, so the opportunity to work with the COC [Canadian Olympic Committee] is a huge honour," she said.
