The Faculty of Arts in Egypt
The University of Ottawa, together with the Faculty of Arts and the Canadian International College (CIC), has opened a new academic unit in Cairo, Egypt. The Canadian School of Communication offers a fully accredited program leading to the Honours Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Communication from the University of Ottawa.
More than 200 Egyptian students are now registered in the Canadian School of Communication.
An exchange program with CIC is under consideration, which would allow interested uOttawa students to study abroad in Egypt for a session or for a full academic year.

The Canadian International College (CIC) is the University of Ottawa’s partner in New Cairo, Egypt. In 2008, the University of Ottawa and CIC teamed up to offer programs in communication and engineering in order to grant Canadian university degrees for students. CIC's admission standards comply with and strictly adhere to the admission requirements at uOttawa. CIC's Quality Assurance Department constantly ensures that CIC students have the same curriculum as their uOttawa counterparts.
CIC believes that through its distinctive partnership with uOttawa, it can offer a unique experience to students and professors at both CIC and uOttawa. Learn more about CIC’s mission, vision and values.
