Louise Bouchard, co-director of RRASFO and professor of sociology at the University of Ottawa, has taken an interest in this issue for many years. “Results from secondary analyses and national health surveys show that Ontario’s minority Francophones are reporting they’re in poorer health,” explains Bouchard, who teaches in the population health PhD program. “Among other characteristics, they’re showing signs of greater body mass than the majority, and that means more obesity and more chronic diseases.”

Vote mob organizer and uOttawa communications student Elizabeth Dubois is Oxford-bound!
Along with her friends, the communications student organized a vote mob to mobilize her peers and to encourage them to vote on May 2.
