Art and archeology slide library
Mireille Lavigne, assisted by Roxanne Lafleur, manages a collection of 200,000 slides and digital images.
The collection documents the great movements in the history of art, from prehistory to today, with an emphasis on Greek and Roman Antiquity, European, Canadian and American modern and contemporary art. Painting, sculpture, architecture, graphic arts, photography, performance art, installation art, and decorative arts are well represented.
The art and archeology slide library serves as a resource centre for professors as well as students campus wide and is located on the first floor of the Morisset Library.
