January 2009 Infoweb Peak Period
December 8, 2008 - The January 2009 peak will begin on Monday January 5, 2009 until Wednesday January 14, 2009. Please be advised that heavy usage is expected during this time on most University systems including InfoWeb.
Here are some details regarding the upcoming January 2009 InfoWeb peak period:
Duration
- Peak period duration: Monday January 5 until Wednesday January 14 2009
- Black out period duration: From Wednesday Dec 17, 2008 to Friday January 16, 2009.
During this time, only emergency changes are deployed to the InfoWeb environment (Hardware, software, network and applications included). - DB2 threshold monitoring will be implemented during the peak. Resource heavy requests exceeding a preset threshold will not be processed.

Support
- As in every peak, the InfoWeb Emergency Response Team will be monitoring all the affected systems to correct any issues that might arise during regular business hours.
